Welcome to Marnel Junior School
I would like to welcome you to 
Marnel Junior School which is a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. Our new website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
We are an exciting and innovative, four-form junior school, in the thriving area of Popley, in Basingstoke. We work with our community to ensure their school is the very best it can be.
Our team is friendly and approachable, always putting the care and safety of our children first. All our staff are hard-working and completely committed to ensuring we provide the best opportunities. We constantly encourage our pupils to follow our learning behaviours; working hard to achieve their best and experience success.
We are extremely proud of our rich, engaging curriculum, which is constantly changing so it remains fresh, full of excitement and provides a lifetime of memories. Opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future. The mixture of academic, creative, sporting and musical elements, championed by staff, ensures every pupil has something to become excited about.
We are very proud of our children, who are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, independent and confident.
We hope that our new website will give you an insight into what life at Marnel is like, but this can never replace the first- hand experience of coming to visit us.
